Fall Festival

My church had a Western themed Fall Festival tonight. Gabriel didn't really have any country stuff that still fit him so mom and I went to Goodwill to find some clothes...and we bought him some cowboy boots that fit him too since his other ones are a few sizes too small.

This was the end result...

Cutest little cowboy you have ever seen, huh?? He had on his cowboy boots and his little horse on a stick haha. Everyone was dressed up and they looked adorable.

Now, Gabriel has a little girlfriend at church who is about 8 months younger than him. Her name is Mackenzie and Gabriel calls her Tenzie (which I think is adorable!!...oh and she calls him Gabral). So of course I had to get a picture of the two of them all dressed up in their country outfits. I couldn't get them to stand still for a good and/or posed picture, but I did get one where they are both looking in the general direction of the camera and that is really all I can ask for.

Aren't they precious?? They chase each other around and give each other hugs all the time. Tenzie's mom Jenn and I are always introducing each other as Gabral and Tenzie's future in-laws haha.

They had horses at the church tonight and Gabriel wanted to ride them. He loves horses but I was nervous that he might be scared to actually ride it because it was so big and far off the ground. Heck no! He yelled, "WEEE!" and "YEE-HAW!!!" the entire time he was riding. I walked around with him just to be sure he didn't fall off.

I had to pry him off the horse after his turn and he started crying and screaming, "Ride it again, mama!" while we walked back into the church. He was not a happy camper for only getting one ride. I have been thinking about letting him take horseback riding lessons when he gets a little older but I wasn't sure he would want to...well, I'm pretty sure he will want to now.

I can never make up my mind!!

So I have bangs...again! I can never decide whether I want bangs or I want to grow them out. I grow them out then cut them then grow them out then cut them. So I had bangs and I decided to let them grow out but it didn't last as long as it usually does. I cut them off again. Now I have cute bangs again and I am so excited!!

What do you guys think? Do you like me better with bangs or without?? I like both so I am sure I will grow them out and then cut them again in the near future.

I have two hats that I love and I am just now finding cute ways to wear them. So I posted a pic for Ally and for anyone else who wants to see...

I love this hat! Isn't it adorable?? I added some snow into the picture to make it a little more fun haha.

What do you guys think?

(Oh, and I have no makeup on in these pictures so forgive that haha)

Number 1

Here it is! The moment you all have been waiting for!! Well, maybe not, but that's all right. I am doing this post a little earlier than planned because I have some new developments that I would like to blog about before the end of the month...and that doesn't give me much time.

So, here we go! My Number 1 is...be still my beating heart...the ever so sexy and serious

Paul Wesley!!!

Yay for Stefan Salvatore! Most of you know that Vampire Diaries is one of my favorite shows and Stefan is definitely my favorite character. He is so sexy and serious but he can be funny and romantic and just gorgeous all together!

He also played in the television miniseries Fallen where he played Aaron Corbett. I loved this show...of course I am a little biased because this show was about angels and the book I am writing is about angels...

I know he played on Army Wives too, but I have never watched the show. I have heard wonderful things about it and I have wanted to watch it, but I haven't gotten around to it. Have you guys watched that show?

He is always so serious in his pictures so most of them are turning out to be his B.A. pictures and even when he smiles, he still looks B.A.

But this picture is probably my favorite. I'm not entire sure why, but I love the way he is standing and the little smirk. Yummy!

Here he is as Stefan from The Vampire Diaries. MMMmmmm!!!! I know that a lot of people like his brother (in the show) Damon better than Stefan but I think they are crazy! I do like Damon, but I LOVE Stefan!!

Another Vampire Diaries picture...I just can't resist!!

Now, I couldn't find a good shirtless picture of him that I liked...even though he does have a nice bod...but, you guys can go look for yourselves if you think he is sexy.

All right, let's hear it...anyone agree with my Number 1??

Number 2

Is everyone getting excited to learn my Number 1?? Or could everyone really just care less? haha. Well, Number 2 is the last one with an accent on the countdown and he was actually Number 1 the last time I did this...he was bumped down one little notch, but he is still dear to my heart! :)

So Number 2 is the incredibly sexy

Alex O'Loughlin

He is also Australian and is best known for his roles as Mick St. John in Moonlight, Detective Kevin Hiatt in The Shield, Stan in The Back-Up Plan, and now Steve McGarrett in the new remake of Hawaii Five-O. He also played Russell Haden in Whiteout and Marshall in August Rush.

Adorable. So casual and handsome. Did anyone see The Back-Up Plan? I thought it was a cute movie and I loved his character in it. But, of course, my favorite thing he has done is

Mick St. John in Moonlight. I am so sad that they canceled the show after only one season. It was so great. He is a private investigator and a vampire. The long hair, the mysterious loner personality, that smile...yummy.

Once more, a shirtless picture. Notice all of the wonderful tattoos. I love a man with tattoos!!

Now, I know you must all be wondering who my Number 1 is since Mr. Gorgeous here was Number 1 previously...I guess you will have to wait until sometime tomorrow night to find out. I know the suspense is killing you. (That was definitely sarcastic since only one person has even commented on my countdown.)

Regardless, I shall prevail! Who agrees with my Number 2??

Number 3

Moving right along to Number 3 and adding another one with an accent. Who doesn't like a sexy man with an accent?...(he isn't the last one with an accent on my countdown either)

Sam Worthington

A 34 year old Australian actor who is best known for playing Jake Sully in Avatar and Perseus in the remake of Clash of the Titans. I love him in both of those movies.

This picture is my favorite. He looks so sweet and still so sexy. I have been trying to put a sweet picture of each guy on my List along with a B.A. picture because I find both sides of them so wonderful. This picture is definitely the sweet and adorable picture. So handsome.

And this is the B.A. picture. I'm not really sure why this picture is so appealing to me, but it is. He looks relaxed but like a complete bad boy. I love it!

Now, I just had to add pictures from Clash of the Titans and Avatar on here. Everyone knows I love the Ancient Roman style armor and since he is the one wearing it...double whammy!

I adore him in Avatar. The humor in everything he says and does and the fact that everything that comes out of his mouth in that movie is dripping with sarcasm. I love it! Plus, I'm not entirely sure why he is so sexy as an Omaticaya warrior...(the blue person for those of you who haven't watched the movie)...but he is.

All right...anyone agree with me on this one??

Number 4

The countdown continues. Number 4 isn't as well known as Number 5 was, but he does fit the criteria or being less that 40 since he is only 27.

The only thing I have seen him in is Legend of the Seeker which is a television series based on the Sword of Truth book series by Terry Goodkind. I have only read the first book, which was amazing, but you can't really compare the series to the book because you will hate the series. It really doesn't follow the book at all. But the series is good too if you look at it as a separate thing altogether...which is what I always have to do when a movie or whatnot doesn't follow a book that I love...that way I can like them both.

He is...
Craig Horner

He is an Australian actor, so most of what he does is Australian movies and television shows. Has anyone else seen him in anything else other than Legend of the Seeker?

I think he is a good actor and he is also completely adorable. His character in Legend of the Seeker is named Richard Cypher, and he is such a great character. He is lovable and easy to relate to. I love the outfits in this show too.

Now, he was in my previous List of Five. And the fact that he made it to the remake of it is saying something. I realize that not everyone has the same taste in men as I do, but I'm not sure anyone could say that he isn't at least cute.

This picture shows his outfit from the show. His hair is a little longer, this is from the second season, but I will never turn down longer hair...as long as it looks nice and clean and not yucky.

All right, so I had a picture of Brendan Fraser without a shirt in the previous post, and I feel like I would be robbing my followers if I didn't add a picture of Craig Horner without his shirt on...

He has his shirt off a lot in the show and I really can't blame them for doing that. In fact, I thank them!

So, who agrees with me on my Number 4 choice? Anyone?

Number 5

And the countdown begins. Now, I want to start by saying that I usually keep my List of Five to below the age of 40 simply because there are too many sexy older men that I can't narrow them down to five...(a few examples are Hugh Jackman, Dennis Quaid, Mel Gibson, and Gerard Butler)...but I am breaking that rule for my Number 5. He is 41 right now but he turns 42 on December 3rd...

Some of my favorite movies that he has played in are:

Encino Man
School Ties
Airheads
Mrs. Winterbourne
Bedazzled
Monkeybone
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Inkheart
And my favorites...
The Mummy Movies
and
George of the Jungle!!

Have you guessed him yet? Of course you have, because you saw his picture before you even opened this post...that makes it really hard to keep you guys in suspense. That's right. It's

Brendan Fraser!!

Yummy! There is just something about him. He is a great actor and he is so funny. Even in his serious roles, there is a little bit of humor in there. Even if it is just a facial expression. Now, everyone knows that I just love a man with long hair. That is one of the reasons that this

is the sexiest picture of him. Now, the nice bod doesn't hurt either! But the long hair really makes it! I love him in that movie. Of course, I'm not biased to how long the hair has to be, so semi long and shaggy with a little bit of facial hair also does the trick...

The cute half smile, the relaxed yet goofy pose, the yummy arms (yup, definitely an arms girl! I just love muscular arms!) He is just so cute.

I had a dream last night that I was at a Halloween party and he was there. I don't remember what our costumes were, but he was George of the Jungle Brendan with the long hair and hot bod...he wasn't the goober he was in the movie though. He was very intelligent. We were talking and flirting and dancing...well we ended up getting married at the end of my dream right before I woke up. Too bad I woke up so soon. :)

But, just because I like the long haired, goofy, wide open version of him doesn't mean I don't appreciate the shorter haired, serious, B.A. version of him.

Mmmm...excuse me while I drool a little bit. So sexy.

So there ya have it! My Number 5 in my List of Five. Who agrees with me that Brendan Fraser is one sexy man?

Stay tuned for my Number 4 that will be headed your way tomorrow, my blogging buddies!

Redo

So, I have decided to redo my List of Five since it has changed quite a bit from the last time I did it. Instead of doing it all in one post, I am going to start at five and do one entry per day so keep you all in suspense. Plus, I wanted to have more pictures and more info on them, so I am breaking it down into five entries. But, before I start on that, I am going to do an entry on my favorite celebrity ever.

I have always had a little crush on him since I was younger, and I love all of the work he is doing now, but he is unlike any other celebrity.

He is...

Kirk Cameron.

I loved him in Growing Pains. That was my favorite show growing up. It was so funny and Mike Seaver was so cute!

He became a born again Christian when he was 17 years old. He is one of the very few celebrities that never fell into drugs and alcohol. That right there is enough to respect him.

He played Buck Williams in the Left Behind movies and I loved him in those too but I absolutely adore him in Fireproof. He plays Caleb Holt, the captain of that Albany Fire Department in Georgia.

Now, I thought it was interesting that he and the actress who plays his wife never hugged or touched throughout the movie and then at the end, they hug and share a very passionate kiss...to me, it seemed like he would be the kind of person to feel very uncomfortable with the idea of kissing someone other than his wife. So I did a little research.

He refused to kiss anyone other than his wife. In Fireproof, the kissing scene is shot from a distance and the sun in shining into the camera so they are in silhouette. That is his wife that he is kissing, not the character who plays his wife in the film. His wife is wearing the same dress as the other actress and they just switched.

Now, I don't know about you, but this is saying a lot about him and his character. That is how it should be, but nothing is ever how it should be in this world anymore.

Completely random entry, I know, but I just wanted to share that. My List of Five entries will start later today or tomorrow.

Fireproof

Who has seen the movie Fireproof with Kirk Cameron? If you haven't, you need to go out and buy it right now and watch it. Every married couple needs to watch this movie together. I have seen it maybe 5 times now and I love it...but Josh and I haven't watched it together yet. I am actually watching it right now for the second time today. I'm watching it alone because Josh is on a hunting trip this weekend, but I need it. There is a line in there that really gets to me. (There are a lot of great lines in there, but this one is especially great.)

"Don't follow your heart, because your heart can be deceived. You have to lead your heart."

There are a lot of things that have been going through my mind these last few months and one of them is, "Should I follow my heart?" If I was going to follow my heart, I'm not sure where I would be right now. It has been telling me so many different things. I know that God is telling me some things but I also know what the devil is throwing some things in there too just to throw me off and to break up my marriage. If I had followed my heart, I would have been gone by now.

My heart has been and is being deceived. God wants my marriage to work. He wants my marriage to bring honor and glory to him through us. Right now, it isn't doing that. We are closer than we used to be...but we haven't gotten there yet. I want to get to that point.

There is a song on the soundtrack for Fireproof that I absolutely LOVE! It is called Love Is Not A Fight by Warren Barfield (click on the song title to watch it). I encourage all of you to take the time to watch this video and really listen to the lyrics. This is going to be my creed. When times are really tough and I just want to give up, I am going to listen to this song. The lyrics are below as well so you can read back over them. They are worth it.

Love is not a place
to come and go as we please
It's a house we enter in
then commit to never leave

So lock the door behind you
Throw away the key
Work it out together
Let it bring us to our knees

Love is a shelter
in a raging storm
Love is peace
in the middle of a war
And if we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight
but its something worth fighting for

To some love is a word
that they can fall into.
But when they're falling out
keeping that word is hard to do

Love is a shelter
in a raging storm
Love is peace
in the middle of a war
And if we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight
but its something worth fighting for

Love will come to save us
If we'll only call
He will ask nothing from us
but demand we give our all

Love is a shelter
in a raging storm
Love is peace
in the middle of a war
And if we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight
but its something worth fighting for.

Cause I Will Fight For You
Would You Fight For Me
It's Worth Fighting For.

I know I can't do this on my own and even Josh and I can't do this by ourselves, but I know that God is going to be there to help us through this and to bring us closer to him. I encourage you all to watch this movie and let me know what you think of it.

My new motto

"Homes are for free expression, not for good impressions."

I got this from the movie Yours, Mine & Ours with Rene Russo and Dennis Quaid. For those of you who have never seen this movie...Dennis Quaid is an Admiral in the U.S. Coast Guard and he is a widowed father of eight kids who runs his house like a tight ship. Rene Russo is a widow with ten kids who is a very laid back and relaxed mother. They were high school sweethearts and when they bump into each other again, they get married on a whim and their very large families clash a little bit...and by little, I mean a lot. It is a cute movie.

Anyway, Rene Russo's character is going out for a meeting and her daughter asks why doesn't she just have them over to the house, to which she replies, "Homes are for free expression, not for good impressions," right as a watermelon comes sailing down the stairs and explodes on the floor.

Now, this quote is my new motto for more than one reason. Yes (coughAllycough), the number one reason is definitely because I hate to clean. But that isn't the only reason. This quote is so true. My household is pretty hectic most days. I may not have 18 kids, but I do have a husband, a 2 year old, three dogs (one of which is the size of a horse), and a cat...and I just found out that we are adding a bird to the zoo that has become my home.

How on EARTH am I to be expected to keep this house spotless 100% of the time?? You have got to be out of your mind! I do understand that the house needs to be moderately clean at all times, I get that, but wouldn't it be so much better to sit down in the floor with your son and play for a while instead of running around like a chicken with your head cut off trying to get the house spotless?? Chasing my toddler around with a handy vac is not exactly my idea of a good time.

There will be messes. There will be chaos. There will be a lot of things, but a good impression will never be one of them. So why try? Now, this will be easy for me because, hey let's face it, I'm a big fat lazy bum. But for those of you who are so caught up in keeping the house clean...you are missing the opportunity to kick back, relax, and enjoy the little things.

And Gabriel's costume is...

My brother was supposed to buy Gabriel's costume for Halloween this year, but he just went to Vegas for his birthday, so he doesn't have the money...which is fine by me because I get to chose what Gabriel wears instead of Tyler picking. Well, there were a lot of cute costumes out there for little boys but there were also a lot of not so cute ones.

We eventually settled on him being a...

PIRATE!!

Isn't he just the cutest pirate in the world?!? I love the earring in his right ear!! He actually wanted to wear it and didn't pull it off or even play with it. I couldn't believe it! The actual description of the costume is Pirate King haha. But I love it!

I also got a few things for my costume. I'm not posting pictures on Facebook until Halloween and I haven't posted any pictures of my costume yet because I didn't have the whole outfit. Now that I have everything that goes with it, I am going to take more pictures and I might put them on here.

Josh said that he might go as a pirate too. If that happens then I might be more of a pirate wench instead of a lady musketeer haha but that is fine by me!

Relax? Yeah right!

I very rarely get time alone just to think. My two year old doesn't take naps during the day anymore...I'm not sure why...he just doesn't. I could make him, which is what I used to do, but I usually don't. Sometimes he falls asleep on my bed watching a movie and stays asleep for a little while, but it just isn't the same as a nice long nap in his bed in his own room.

When Josh gets home, he is usually so exhausted from work that he eats and goes right to bed. So I can't even pawn Gabriel off on him for ten minutes to myself. The only me time I get it when Gabriel goes to sleep at night. And then it is too late to even do anything other than read or work on my story or watch a movie.

So last night, we went to the grocery store when Josh got home, because he actually got home on time instead of late. When we got back home, I asked Josh if he could watch Gabriel so I could take a shower. Now, if you are in my position and are a stay at home mom, a shower is your best friend when someone is watching your child/children. You don't just rush through a shower like you usually have to. You take your time. You relax. You let your mind be free. And you enjoy the silence.

While I was in the shower last night, I heard an enormous commotion that could only be made by my 200 pound 2 year old dog followed shortly by a cry that could only be made by my 35 pound 2 year old son...Automatically, you think the worst...and normally I would have jumped out of the shower and ran to see what had happened. But, all of the doors were unlocked leading back into the bathroom where I was so I waited a few seconds to see if any more noise followed or if Josh would come rushing into the bathroom with a screaming bleeding child!

Nothing happened.

I waited a little bit longer...still nothing. And then I heard a small laugh. Obviously daddy had made whatever happened all better. But, my relaxing shower was ruined. The sanctuary of our showers and our relaxation is at stake, ladies! What are we to do?

I think have a nervous breakdown is close to the top of the list.

Tag!! You're it!!

I was tagged by a fellow blogger... The Year After ...to answer some questions and then tag some friends to answer some questions as well. Here are the questions I am supposed to answer...here we go:

1. What is one "little thing" you have to do for yourself occasionally to keep from going insane?
There are many things I do to keep from going insane...I read, I write (in my journal, work on a story idea), I daydream, if Gabriel is asleep then I turn off everything and just enjoy the silence, I take a nice long relaxing shower...the list goes on and on

2. What is your biggest pet peeve?
I hate fake people. You are who you are. Don't try to be something that you aren't. I also hate people that fish for compliments. They talk bad about themselves just so you will say something good about them to make themselves feel better...I'm sure you all know the type. It drives me crazy. Know-it-alls are another group that drive me up the wall. And people that try to out do you no matter what you are talking about. They think they know more than you about every topic. They have done it better than you, faster than you, more times than you. Ugh!

3. Where would be your dream place to live, and why?
I would love to live in either Scotland or on an island in the Caribbean surrounded by water and a very laid back atmosphere.

4. What is your favorite movie, and give us a summary of it and an explanation of why it is your favorite.
I'm not sure I can pick only one. I love Disney movies, war/military movies (and that includes movies in ancient times like Clash of the Titans, paranormal movies...man, I am basically listing them all haha. I seriously can't pick just one.

5. What is one thing you would like to change about yourself? Not about how you look... something about who you are.
This is an easy one. I wish I wasn't so lazy. I love being laid back, so I definitely wouldn't want to change that, but I would love to be less lazy...

All righty. Now, I am going to tag some of my friends and give you guys some questions to answer.

1. Ally
2. Natalie
3. Desiree

Your questions are:

1. What is your comfort food? Why?
2. If you could have any animal in the world (real or imaginary) as a pet, what would it be? Why?
3. What time period do you wish you lived in? Why?
4. Where would you love to go on a long vacation? Why?
5. What is your dream car? Why?

You answer these questions on your blog, tag as many friends as you would like, make up some questions for them, and have fun!!

Wasn't I A Cutie??

As many of my posts will tell you, I love my brother. He is my best friend and he is my hero! This picture was taken on Tuesday at his birthday party. His actual birthday is tomorrow (and he will be turning 24), but he will be on his way to Las Vegas tomorrow, so we had his party earlier in the week. This picture is my new favorite picture of the two of us. We have so many pictures together in the past 22 years of my life, but this one tops them all.

This picture is from 1989. I was 6 months old in this one, I believe. It is fun to see how much we have changed in the last 20 or so years haha. Even in the last few years we have changed so drastically.

It is going to be so hard when he goes overseas. He leaves in February or March to start his training. He will be back home in May for Gabriel's birthday (we hope), and then he leaves in May for Afghanistan for 9 months. :( I am trying not to think about it until it gets closer. He will be here for Christmas this year, but not next year. He will miss my birthday next year and his own birthday...

He is excited about going, but we aren't. I am going to be a wreck. We will be able to talk to him, but I don't know how I am going to make it through...

Relationships

Gabriel and I went with the youth minister's wife and her little girl to see Veggietales Live yesterday. Gabriel loves Veggietales, so I knew he would have a blast. He sang and danced to all the songs and it was a great experience. I enjoyed it too. They had a lot of Veggietales merchandise and, of course, he wanted some. So I got him a little wand that lights up, silly bands that are in the shape of Veggietales characters, and a LarryBoy hat. For those of you who have never seen Veggietales, LarryBoy is Larry the cucumber's version of Batman. He wears a purple outfit and has plungers for ears...

...and of course he looked adorable. He was wearing his Veggietales shirt and jeans. He looked like such a little man.

Gabriel is starting to do this new thing when he is tired. He lays his head down on my shoulder, wraps his arms around my neck, and plays with my hair. I don't know why, but I just love it when he does that. It is so sweet. He used to sleep on my chest all the time when he was little and then, the older he got, the more he fought sleep, so he never slept on me anymore. It has been a long time since he laid his head down on my shoulder and I just love it! :)

I just wanted to put that on here because it is so sweet. Now, on to what I really wanted to write. I used to be really close to my cousin. We lived two doors down from each other all our lives. There wasn't a day during the summer that we weren't hanging out either at the pool or at each others house. We were best friends. When we got into high school, I started doing more rebellious things and she didn't. We liked different things and we just grew apart.

Once I grew up, and I don't mean in age, it made me really sad that we weren't close anymore. We have always had a bond, and I really wanted to get that bond back. She has been going through a lot these past few years, just like I have, and we are starting to talk again. Talking like we used to talk a long time ago.

My church is having a Ladies' Retreat in November and I wasn't planning on going, but she came up to me and asked me if I was going because she didn't want to go unless I was going too. I can't wait. I think I am going to ride up there with her (it's in Gatlinburg) and then we might be rooming together. This is the perfect opportunity to talk more, spend time with each other, and start working on our bond again.

The ladies of the church are also going to a movie tomorrow night and then to IHOP after that. She texted me this morning and asked if I was going. I'm so excited that she wants to spend time with me too. I love my cousin! I hope we can get closer and maybe even as close as we used to be.

Go figure...

So, the kitty turned out to be so sweet and we all just fell in love with him. Obviously, we are going to keep him. We're going to get him fixed and declawed and get all his shots and a nice check up to make sure that everything is all right and then he will be the newest member of our family. I didn't want to name him because I didn't want to get too attached to him if we weren't going to keep him...

Gabriel already loves him. We are going to have to work on him being a little easier on him than he is used to being on the dogs. It won't bother me as much once he is declawed. But, now that we are going to keep him, we had to give him a name. We decided his name is going to be....

LEO!!!!

Now, that could stand for a lot of different things. First, I look at him and I see a lion. So Leo the lion is one thing that he could be named after. (And my zodiac symbol is Leo). Leo Fender (for Josh haha). King Leonidas 1 of Sparta. Leonardo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Take your pick.

And he just looks like a Leo. Anyone with pets knows what it is like to name a new animal. They have to look like the name you are giving them. Every name we came up with just didn't feel right. He didn't look like an Elliott or a Patch (even though that's what I wanted to name him in the first place) or a Zeus. But he looks like a Leo.

Now, I'm trying to just take a deep breath and not freak out about another mouth to feed and another animal to take care of. I hope that everything will work out for the best. Sigh.

But, of course, I am already in love with him...and he loves his mommy! :)

Ugh! Double Ugh!

I went out on Saturday night on what was supposed to be a fun night alone for some ME time. I was just going to go to Barnes & Noble to get a few books. Well, my bestie Jess was going to be along because her hubby is working the night shift for a few weeks...so I invited her along for some Jamie Jess time! I was so excited.
We went out to Applebees and got dessert, talked, and then we went to Barnes & Noble. For those of you who know me at all, know that I can't contain myself sometimes in that store. I told Josh I wanted a few books. And yes, that usually means 2 or 3 but I ended up getting 8.
Wow!I know. I really went overboard. I just knew that Josh was going to be mad at me. Some of the books were on sale so it wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be, but still. I told him and he was mad. Go figure. I knew he would be, but he went a little overboard. Once again, go figure. So I got mad right back. How much money and time has he spent on that stupid piece of crap truck of his that STILL DOESN'T RUN! I might add. He really has no right to get mad at me.
So today, I get a text message from him telling me he has a surprise for me when he gets home, it was completely free, but he doesn't know how well it will go over. Right there I knew I wasn't going to like this surprise. Now, before I continue, let me give a little explanation of my household. There is Josh (my hubby), Me (of course), Gabriel (our almost two and a half year old son), Apollo (our Great Dane), Toby (our Boxer), and Roxy (a mutt). Three dogs is enough for any house but when one is the size of a small horse, that makes things interesting, right? Oh yeah. And having a toddler is an adventure in itself even if we had no animals. So what does he bring home?

An adorable sweet little male orange tabby kitten. We have no need for another mouth to feed, especially not one that Apollo can crush easily with his paws that are bigger than my hand (he weighs more than I do too), or could eat in one gulp?
What is he thinking? At least my books don't cost more money after the first initial price. You don't have to take my books to the vet or feed them or bathe them. They just sit there looking gorgeous on my bookshelves beside my bed and that's it.
Ugh!
Like I need another thing on my plate right now. Does he want me to go insane? Have a complete meltdown? What?

An Improved Bored

All right...so I took a better picture for comparison with my hair color...I look a little evil in the other picture haha...

And I also did another even better vampire edit...

I would make a pretty sexy vampire if I do say so myself...and I do :) and the two puncture spots on my neck that I bloodied up (yummy) are really marks on my neck...if you look in the picture in the collage you can see them...I was born with vampire bite marks on my neck haha. Nice, huh?

So if anyone read the other entry that I am going to delete as soon as I post this one...just ignore that and look at this one! :) thanks!!
