Gabriel started preschool and he absolutely loves it!! We couldn't afford to keep him in gymnastics right now but he just started teeball and his second practice is tonight! He loves that as well and his first game will be this weekend (I think) which should be very interesting.
The biggest thing that has changed is the fact that I'm now 32 weeks pregnant and due June 1st!! We are having another little boy and his name is Lachlan Arthur. Gabriel is absolutely thrilled to be getting a little brother and has already shown me what an amazing big brother he will be. Things have been a bit hectic trying to get everything ready for Lachlan's arrival but his nursery is finally done! I cleaned out my car last night and my hubby and I started talking about when we would have to put the carseat and stroller into the car in case I go early (which I'm pretty sure I will) and when to start packing our hospital bags. I really can't believe that in 8 short weeks, I will be the mommy of two amazing boys!!
We got maternity pictures done and this one is my favorite!! It's amazing how quickly these past 32 weeks have flown. It seems like yesterday when I excitedly told everyone we were expecting again! And now, in a few weeks, we will be getting everything ready to bring our second little man home with us.
Gabriel will be turning 5 on May 5th and then I'm pretty sure that Lachlan will be born at the end of May instead of in June...and if that's the case, May will be a very crazy month for us from now on. Because I got pregnant, I didn't get another job so I could stay home with Lachlan like I did with Gabriel. Josh has changed jobs a few times and might actually be getting another job soon that will (hopefully) be very beneficial for us.
My dad now lives in South Carolina for his job and my mom might be moving down there a few weeks after the baby is born to be with him...he comes home on the weekends...so that's going to be really difficult because I'm close to my family. And we are coming up on a year that Tyler has been home from overseas and that makes me nervous because they could send him back. If my parents are both living in SC and Tyler goes overseas right after Lachlan is born, I'm going to be an emotional wreck!!
So that's basically everything that's been going on in my life...well, the big things at least. I hope you all are doing well and I will try to write more later. Although, it might not be until after Lachlan is born and then I will have baby pictures to post! Yay!
