Up To Date!

So, I haven't written in a little while so I thought I would post a little update.

My brother Tyler is home from overseas! He got home safely at the end of May and life seems to have picked right back up where we left off. Hopefully, he won't have to go back overseas for a long time, but we never know.

Only July 7, 2012, Josh and I celebrated our five year wedding anniversary. I can't believe we've been together for so long, and (really) I can't believe we made it five years. In the long run, five years doesn't exactly seem like a long time, but to a married couple, five years seems like forever! We've had our ups and downs...mostly downs...but we are closer than we've ever been and working through things better than before. We know we have a long road ahead of us, but we're doing it!

I took Gabriel to his first gymnastics class this week and he absolutely loved it! I've been wanting to get Gabriel into gymnastics for a while now because he is always flipping and swinging on things and balancing...he's a natural...but I had to get Josh used to the idea. He thought gymnastics was girly, but I finally convinced him to let Gabriel try it. We are also going to get Gabriel in teeball or baseball as soon as we can because that's another thing he absolutely loves (and he's really good too).

Also, Gabriel might be starting preschool this year. We hoped to get him into the Christian Academy I was working for, but we can't afford it, so we are having him screened at the end of this month to determine whether he will be going to preschool this year or if we have to wait until kindergarden next year. If he does start this year, I'm going to be getting a job (which I'm very much looking forward to), but I'm not actively looking right now until I know for sure whether he will be starting or not.

I've been working on the fourth part of my Four Kingdoms series, but it's been slow going. I've also been working on another novel of mine and I have almost 40,000 words so far. I'm very proud of what I have so far with that and I can't wait to finish it and my Four Kingdoms series and really focus on editing it and getting it ready to have someone read them all. A friend of mine and I have been discussing the pros and cons of self publishing and every other alternative, so we'll see where that takes me.

Well, I suppose that's everything that's really been going on in my life for the most part. Until next time...

I feel so old!!!

My baby boy just turned 4 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of his presents! His birthday party was superhero themed because he is a complete and total geek (just like his mommy and his uncle and his Poppy and his Nay)! All of his presents were some superhero or another and...surprisingly...he didn't get any repeats. He got Thor, Iron Man, Spiderman, and Flash action figures, Hulk hands, a plethora of superhero clothes, and much much more!! And he had a blast!

My husband and I decided to get him one big present that we knew he wanted and we knew no one else would be getting for him...

And he loves it!! This is his (girl)friend Malia with him in his new ride and cool new Batman shades! I can't believe how grown up he is!! I know I'm only 23 years old, but I feel so old the older he gets hahaha.

But he sure is a cutie!



Yay!

So, I finished the first rough draft of the third part of my Fantasy Series...

They are short...not a novel by themselves...but I had planned on having them all together to make one novel with three parts...and so far, combined, I have almost 100,000 words.

They are far from being finalized, but I am very excited and proud of myself for getting this far!!

Four eyes!

Yup...I'm a four eyes once again. I wore glasses ten years ago for one year and then I didn't need them anymore because the problem corrected itself...but I need them once again.

What do you think? Can I pull them off?

I guess I can't be a real bookworm without having glasses, right? At least I fit the stereotype now haha.

I know I haven't been able to write very much on here since I don't have internet, but when I do write something, I get no feedback. So I have a task for all of my followers.

If you read my blog at all, please just leave me a comment on this entry so I know some people actually read this...if I don't get any responses, I'm not sure what the point is of keeping a blog that no one reads.
